KYLIN-V2.0 CODE CALCULATION ABILITY VERIFICATION BASED ON VERA BENCHMAR

Virtual Environmental for Reactor Analysis (VERA) benchmark was released by the Consortium Advanced Simulation of Light water reactors (CASL) project in 2012. VERA includes more than ten problems at different levels, from 2D fuel pin case to assembly 3D core refuelling case, addition, reference results and experimental measured data some were provided CASL. Fuel assemblies are various, including control rod assemblies, Pyrex assembly, IFBA WABA gadolinium poison so on. In this paper, various models have been built using KYIIN-V2.0 code verify its calculation ability 3x3 making a comparative analysis on benchmark, as well Monte Carlo RMC. KYLIN-V2.0 is an advanced neutron transport lattice developed Nuclear Power Institute China (NPIC). The subgroup resonance method used obtain effective selfshielding cross section, modular characteristics (MOC) adopted solve equation, CRAM PPC depletion equation. numerical show that has reliable capability direct heterogeneous multiplication factor, power distribution, distribution reactivity worths calculated better agreement with reference.
